His research interests involve advanced materials and technologies for energy storage and conversion devices, lithium-ion batteries, anode-free lithium metal battery, electrolyte additives, anode surface modification, and new systems. His current research focuses on natural product extraction, isolation and characterization, organic synthesis, and chemical analysis of food.
